The Carmel Public School is run by the C.M.C sisters under a Registered Charitable Society, the President of the society being the manager of the school. The medium of instruction is English. This is a co-educational school. Although opened to boys and girls of all communities, it is a minority community school run by Christians enjoying all the rights and privileges enshrined in Articles 29 and 30 of the Indian Constitution. Course of Study The school is preparing the students for I.C.S.E. This examination is recognized by the Govt. of India through an Act of the Parliament and the Council is approved as one of the Indian Examination bodies.
