Dunne's institute was initiated by a French lady - Madam C. V. Dunne is 1949. On 6th April, 1956, it was taken over by three eminent and visionary Parsi sisters, viz., Mrs. Dhun Jimmy Engineer, Mrs. Mahabanoo Sorab Cooper and Mrs. Pearl Noshir Vevaina (daughters of late Mr. Behramgore Anklesaria). We are recognized by the Government of Maharashtra as a Parsi Minority Education Institution. We redefine Education in a manner, where learning is a pleasure and every child is encouraged to celebrate it. Ours is a co-educational and cosmopolitan institution which provides Education to all communities including the foreign students in a very congenial and harmonious environment. The Secondary Section consisting of 6th Standard till 10th Standard is recognized by the Board of Secondary Education. The Institution is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE), New Delhi.
