Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Deogarh is established in the year 2006-07 which started functioning from 30th Nov 2006 with 38 number of students by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education and Literary , Govt of India. The Vidyalaya is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi. The Vidyalaya is shifted from temporary campus to its permanent campus at Sunamunda
