JNV Surangi was born as the off-shoot of the National Policy of Education-1986 to cherish and realize the conglomerated objectives of good quality modern education with strong component of culture, inculcation of values, environmental awareness, adventurous activities, physical education, music, art and craft to attain excellence and all round development with equality and social justice and to inculcate national integration. Established as an autonomous organization under the Ministry of HRD, GOVT of India, the infant of yester years has now been culminated into a leading educational institution in this district not only in academics but also in the field of school-linked with society, by doing various pace setting works
