The great demand for a good English medium School was the need of the area in the trans G.T part of the Kanpur city known as Kidwai Nagar. Responding to the need, Late. Mrs. Sophie Shukla established a school in the Y’ Block in 1983 as a tribute to the memory of her worthy sister Miss Mercy Roberts.The school in its first month admitted around 500 children. The good respond for more sections and higher classes the management purchased 1.5 acres of land for the school in close vicinity.
