Sophia Girls’ School, Meerut Cantt, U.P. is affiliated to the Indian Council for Secondary Examinations, New Delhi [ Aff. No. UP/070]. The school was established in 1950. It started as a primary school in the makeshift building in the church premises and later moved to its present location. Being within the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Meerut, it functions under it and Bishop. Preference is given to the Catholic community for admission. The school campus is situated on the Delhi-Roorkee Road in the heart of the cantonment. It consists of three buildings with spacious, well- ventilated classrooms, libraries and well equipped laboratories. It has well maintained playground. The school imparts education from the Pre-Primary level to class XII.
