St. Dominic's was founded by the late Mrs. J. E. Street in 1999, an educator at her core from the north eastern state of Meghalaya. Mrs. Street provided the vision for the school and its environment and created an idyllic setting for an educational establishment. Many current and old parents, well-wishers and visitors are amazed by the setting of the school, its layout and the open spaces for the children to run about. In the words of the late foundress, "We have a fine and beautiful campus with all the right conditions for children to learn and grow."The teaching faculty have a simple, yet distinctive and firm underlying philosophy for the school, to provide the very best education whilst being steeped in the rich Indian educational tradition at its core whilst adopting technological and pedagogical advancements in teaching. This has resulted in the growth of the school and its ratings as being a fine and extremely competitive CISCE school.
